Big question, when does a novel become a novella? I really enjoyed writing my first novel. I sent the customary three chapters and synopsis to three agents two of whom were kind enough to reply.
Then I bought a certain book. What a revelation. How right the agents were to decline my masterpiece. Take away five 0’s from 100,000 and that would have been their total sales. Of course I would have to have bought the only copy. Edit, followed edit followed edit. Mind churning, but essential.
So a leaner, faster paced, audience enticing novella awaits discovery. Only the innocent or adventurous would dare to book into my fantasy hotel L’albergo Alberto, Roma. Outside its walls, normality. Inside, be prepared for the extraordinary.
